Dream On will award grants on a case by case basis. Typical grants awarded range from $50 to $1,000. Typical expenses awarded funding include: uniform costs, league or team fees, equipment replacement, skills development classes, and training camps.
Dream on grants are awarded to participants who play a particular sport and have experienced a financial hardship that is preventing them from participating. Dream on generally will not fund a new sport at an elite level that under regular circumstances the participant would not have been able to afford on their own.
Dream On generally will not fund individual travel expenses for tournaments or championships.
Upon receipt, the Dream On staff may ask additional questions in regards to your request before making a decision.
Grant cycles close January 31, April 30, July 31 and October 31 of each calendar year. Grants will be awarded before the end of the following month. Grants will be awarded as determined by the board and one grant per calendar year per participant is the maximum award.
